Ang larong bidyo ay isang larong elektroniko na napapasama sa interaksyon sa [[tagagamit] para bumuo ng biswal na reaksyon sa debisyong bidyo. Ang salitang bidyo sa larong bidyo ay tradisyonal na tumutukoy sa sistemang debisyo na raster.[1] Subalit, dahil sa popular na paggamit ng terminong "larong bidyo," tumutukoy ngayon ito sa kahit anong uri ng debisyong pagpapakita. Ang sistemang elektronikong ginagamit para laruin ang larong bisyo ay tinatawag na plataporma; halimbawa ng mga ito ay makikita sa personal na kompyuter at konsol ng larong bidyo. Umaabot ang mga platapormang ito sa malaking punong bastagan ng kompyuter hanggang sa makinang kamay.
