Ang meteoroid[n 1] ay ang minumungkahing katawagan para sa mga partikulong sinlaki ng buhangin hanggang malalaking bato na makikita sa Sistemang solar.[1][2] Tinatawag na meteor ang nakikitang daanan ng isang meteoroid na pumapasok sa himpapawid ng mundo (o sa ibang himpapawid ng ibang planeta), o tinatawag ding bulalakaw. Kung ang isang meteoroid ay nakaabot sa lupa at nakaligtas sa pagsabog, tinatawag na itong meteorite.[3]
