name	Name of the season; defaults to article title
image	image, wikilinked with width parameter as necessary
caption	caption displayed immediately under image
comment	for something of unusual note about the season
season_start	date of first regular season game
season_end	date of final regular season game
playoffs_start	date of first playoff game
cup_title1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6	the name of a playoff championship (e.g., East Division, Yates Cup)
cup_date1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6	date of the playoff championship (required for hCalendar but not displayed)
cup_champ1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6	the champion of the playoff championship
champion_title	name of the Championship; defaults to Championship
champion_date	date of the Championship game
champion_site	location of the Championship game
champion	the name of the Champion
seasons_title	title for the prev/next navigation line

Microformat

The HTML mark up produced by this template includes an hCalendar microformat, which makes the event details parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue articles across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to a calendar or diary application. Sub-templates
