Isa itong kategoryang pang-maintenance, na ginagamit sa maintenance ng proyekto ng Wikipedia. Hindi ito bahagi ng ensiklopedya at naglalaman ng mga pahinang hindi artikulo, o di kaya'y ginugrupo ang mga artikulo base sa estado imbes na paksa. Wag isama ang kategoryang ito sa mga kategoryang pangnilalaman.

Kategoryang lalagyan ang kategoryang ito. Dahil sa saklaw nito, dapat naglalaman lang ito ng mga subkategorya.

Isa itong kategoryang pantunton. Gumagawa ito at nagme-maintain ng isang listahan ng mga pahinang para sa listahan lang. Hindi sila bahagi ng pagkakategorya sa ensiklopedya.

Nakatago ang kategoryang ito sa mga miyembrong pahina nito—maliban lang kung nakatakda ang kaugnay na user preference nito.
Ginagamit ang mga kategoryang ito para itunton, gumawa, at mag-organisa ng mga listahan ng mga pahinang nangangailangan ng "atensyon nang maramihan" (halimbawa, mga pahinang gumagamit ng deprecated na syntax), o yung mga kailangang i-edit agad ng sinumang may oras para gawin ito.
