Si Herminio "Meniong" Guivelondo Teves (Abril 25, 1920 – Mayo 15, 2019) ay isang negosyante at mambabatas na mula sa Negros Oriental. [1]

Ipinanganak si Herminio Guivelondo Teves kina Margarito Pinili Teves at Francesca Guivelondo noong Abril 25, 1920 sa Valencia, Negros Oriental. [2]

Ikinasal si Tevez kay Narcisa”Sisay” Enrera Bustalino at nagkaroon sila ng tatlong anak na sina Margarito na ipinanganak noong 1943, Pamela na isinalang noong 1945 na sinundan ni Virginia noong 1946.[3][4] Namatay si Narcisa noong 1949 dahil sa kanser.[3] Ikinasal si Teves kay Victoria “Toring” Enrera Villamor, pinsan ni Narcisa, at nagkaroon sila ng limang anak.[3]

Natapos ni Teves ang elementarya at sekundaryang edukasyon sa Negros Oriental High School at nakapagtapos siya ng maritime transportation na major sa nautical studies sa Philippine Nautical School.[3][1]

Bago pumasok sa serbisyong pangpubliko si Teves, siya ay naging pangulo ng Unitrade Inc. sa Lungsod ng Dumaguete at direktor sa Tolong Sugar Milling Co. Inc. sa Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental.[2] Pinamahalaan din niya ang Tayasan Agricultural Farm sa Tayasan, Negros Oriental at San Antonio Cattle sa San Antonio, Sibulan, Negros Oriental.[4]

Sa edad na 49 taong gulang, naging kongresista si Teves ng unang distrito ng Negros Oriental noong 1969.[1] Itinalaga naman siya ni Pangulong Corazon Aquino bilang opisyal na namamahala sa opisina ng gobernador ng Negros Oriental noong 1987.[1] Mula 1998 hanggang 2007, si Herminio Teves ay naging kinatawan ng ikatlong distrito ng Negros Oriental sa Kongreso.[4][5]
