Si Umar o Omar (Arabe: عمر بن الخطاب ʻUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb) (bandang 581-83 o 586-590 KE – 7 Nobyembre, 644[3], bandang 2 Nobyembre sa Dhu al-Hijjah 26, 23 Hijri[4]), kilala rin bilang Umar ang Dakila o Omar ang Dakila ay isang Muslim mula sa angkang Banu Adi. Isa siyang kaibigan ng propeta ng Islam na si Muhammad, at isa rin sa mga kasama o Sahaba ng propetang ito. Naging pangalawang Muslim na pinuno siya pagkaraan ng kamatayan ni Muhammad at namuno sa loob ng 10 mga taon.[5]
