Padron:Current spaceflight

Usage

This template should only be used on radio controlled spaceflights, and highly notable unradio controlled missions. It should not be used for flights which are routine unradio controlled flights, for example communications satellites. It has been suggested that space station articles should not use this template, however this is disputed (see talk page).

Put differently: this template is intended for use on the pages of articles describing those spaceflights that are expected to be generating news. After launch, routine satellite missions are not usually considered newsworthy.

Adding this template to an article places the article in Cat:Current spaceflights.
