Romeo Palustre Peña[baguhin ang wikitext]

Romeo Peña is an Assistant Professor IV and the Chief of Center for Social History of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He is a PhD Philippine Studies student at the Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman. He has received various national and international writing awards like in the Filipino Migration to Hawaii Centennial Literary Prize (2006), UNESCO and Goi Peace Foundation of Tokyo Japan International Writing Contest for Young People (2007), Commission on Filipino Language Writing Award (2010 and 2012). He presented papers in various national and international conferences and seminars like in Japan, Indonesia and many places here in the Philippines. He is a Senior Member of the Royal Institute of Educators-Singapore, Academic Member of Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) based in Greece and he is the selected key person of Cairo, Egypt based Writers Union of Africa, Asia and Latin America (WUAALA) here in the Philippines.
