Ang Miss International 2023 ay ang ika-61 edisyon ng Miss International pageant na gaganapin sa Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 sa Shibuya, Tokyo, Hapon sa Oktubre 26, 2023.[1][2] Pagkatapos ng kompetisyon, kokoronahan ni Jasmin Selberg ng Alemanya ang kanyang kahalili bilang Miss International 2023.

Pagpili ng mga kalahok[baguhin | baguhin ang wikitext]

Ang mga kalahok mula sa 67 bansa at teritoryo ay napili upang lumahok sa kompetisyon. Apat na kandidata ang iniluklok upang kumatawan sa kanilang bansa/teritoryo matapos ang pag-urong ng orihinal na kalahok.

Iniluklok si Stacy Montero bilang ang bagong Miss International Costa Rica matapos bumitiw sa pwesto si Shakira Graham dahil sa mga problema sa kanyang organisasyon. Iniluklok si Daniella Hidalgo bilang ang bagong Miss El Salvador matapos bumitiw sa pwesto si Wendy Portillo. Dapat sanang lalahok si Phomolo Tjie ng Timog Aprika sa edisyong ito.[3] Gayunpaman, nawalan ng lisensya ang Miss International South Africa, dahilan upang hindi kumalahok si Tije sa kompetisyon. Ang lisensya ay napunta sa isang bagong Miss International South Africa Organization, kung saan kinoronahan si Jenique Botha.[4]

Unang sumali sa edisyong ito ang mga bansang Albanya, Bangglades, Lesoto, Pakistan, at Somalya, at bumalik ang mga bansang Anggola na huling sumali noong 2004, Martinika na huling sumali noong 2010, Estonya at Serbiya na huling sumali noong 2014, Litwanya na huling sumali noong 2017, Moldabya na huling sumali noong 2018, at Baybaying Garing, Gana, Gineang Ekwatoriyal, Myanmar, Olanda, Simbabwe, Sri Lanka, at Tunisya na huling sumali noong 2019.[5]
